Imperfect Courage – Jessica Honegger
I signed up to be a part of this book launch and I have to admit that I was a little hesitant to read this book at first. I really though it was just going to be a book about her business (Noonday Collection) that she began and the steps she took in order for it to become the successful company it is today, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was way more than that. This is a book with a call to courage to step outside of your comfort zone and put forth the effort to make a change (even if it is a small one) because you never know how that one step of courage might lead to bigger positive changes in other people’s lives going forward.

The Study Bible for Women (CSB) – Holman Bible Publishers
First of all, I have to say that this Bible is so pretty! It definitely was designed in a way that would appeal to women. The coloring is gorgeous and is very visually delightful. I was raised that KJV was the only acceptable version of the Bible, but as I’ve gotten older and been able to discern and decide for myself about using different versions…CSB is one of my new favorites. There are so many features within this Bible such as commentary notes, word studies (one of my faves), character profiles, “Written on my Heart” applications, maps, charts, timelines, etc…One complaint I have is I wish there were a little bigger margin space to be able to write notes (spoiled by journaling Bibles I guess). Other than that, I think this Bible is well done and I think it would make a great gift to give special women in your life.

Until next time…Keep it simple!
