I was going to wait to include this book in my “What I’m Reading in July” post, but it is too good to not devote a post to it by itself.
When I read the description for this book I knew it was a book I wanted to read and I am so glad I did! I have been struggling with loneliness and feeling left out for awhile now (I have a post about this ready to post, I have just been too “scared” to put it myself out there) and this book really has spoken to me and encouraged me that I need to remember that my worth isn’t found in fitting in with a group of friends or feeling like I need to be a part of something, my worth is found in Christ and if I start with Him I will always end up finding the path to where I belong.
This book is filled with so much encouragement and Biblical truth that it will be one I will keep on my shelves and definitely reread whenever I feel left out/alone and need a reminder as to who the One is that I really belong to and who alone I need find my worth in.
Keep it simple!
