This was my first Hope Harbor series book to read, but it won’t be my last. I have requested the 1st book of the series from my library and am bummed that it’s been on hold for the past couple of weeks. I enjoyed the fact that even though this book was the seventh book in the series, I didn’t feel like I had to read any of the others to be able to enjoy it.
To be honest it took me awhile to get into the book and be invested in the characters, but once I did I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a good clean romance with characters that had troubled pasts, but were invested in overcoming those hardships and becoming better versions of themselves.
I am looking forward to revisiting Hope Harbor in the future and I might even look into a couple of the author’s suspense novels as well.

This series sounds interesting. I am always looking for something to read….that will actually hold my attention. And that is a part of a series (hopefully that will give me more than one book on my list!) I’m a terrible reader. Sigh.
