Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis is such a good book!!! I’m just going to tell you to go ahead and add it to your To-Be-Read (TBR) list now. I don’t know how or when I found out about Rachel Hollis, but I know it was a few years ago and since then I have been a loyal reader of her blog, follow her on both Facebook and Instagram, watch her RachTalks on YouTube, and have read her three fiction books. So needless to say I have become a pretty big fan of hers.
Girl, Wash Your Face is one that will be a permanent fixture on my bookshelf and one that I will look forward to rereading in the future. Rachel Hollis is the real deal. In this book she opens up and is vulnerable about the many struggles she has faced in her life and that women face daily.
She titles each of the chapters with a lie that we might believe about ourselves and then ends each chapter with a few things that helped her overcome that lie. Within each chapter she opens up and tells the reader intimate details about her life and also provides motivation to help you overcome the lie and to help you focus on becoming the person/woman you were meant to be.
I marked so many great quotes throughout the book that in going back and looking through them, there are way too many to share here. Just do yourself a favor, go get the book and read it yourself!
Until next time….keep it simple!
