**I received an advance copy of this book from Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest review.**
I requested this book, “The Heart’s Invisible Furies” by John Boyne because it had great ratings on Goodreads and I had heard that “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” was good. I didn’t read any of the reviews (just what it was rated) on Goodreads before I chose it, so I did not know anything about it. I enjoyed the author’s writing style, but the overall book was just not for me. It’s just not the type of storyline that I typically read. I made it about a third of the way through and just put it down. Maybe someday in the future I will try again, but it just was not for me during this time in my life.
