I love Emily P. Freeman’s podcast “The Next Right Thing” and when I heard she was releasing a book related to the same topic I was so excited! This book is so pretty (even my husband commented on how nice it looked)! But more than how it looks, is what is on the inside. I have struggled my whole life with decision making and it is a weakness of mine. Emily writes in such a way that is not condescending or harsh, but approaches it in a gentle, kind, and practical manner that makes you really stop and think this is something I will be able to apply to my life and actually do. She discusses that the way to make wise, intentional, and thoughtful choices is to first take time to care for our souls. She gives practices/exercises to do that will help bring stillness and quietness to the soul, which in turn will help you in making that decision for the next right thing. I can not recommend this book enough and wish I would have had a book like this when I was first starting out in my adult life. This is a book I will be talking about with friends and family for sure!
