A Christmas in the Alps – Melody Carlson
This was such a SWEET book and would be so perfect to read around the holidays! It was the perfect length, the perfect characters, the perfect storyline. Simone’s grandmother passed away and while cleaning out her grandmother’s house, she found a letter addressed to her mentioning a treasure that would be passed down to Simone. There were no other clues other than it was located in France and Simone would have to go to France to find it and claim it. What Simone didn’t count on was not only the possibility of a treasure, but also finding family, romance, and a new outlook on life. This was so sweet and would make a cute Hallmark movie, I think!

The Secret Keepers of Old Depot Grocery – Amanda Cox
This book is a heartwarming story of three generations of women that all have secrets and the interesting/complicated dynamics of mother/daughter relationships. This was a split-time novel, but I enjoyed getting to know the storylines and how it all came together at the end. This book was such a joy to read and I will be looking to read more books by this author in very near future!
