Anne, at In Residence, hosts a linkup on the first Wednesday of every month and invites readers to share a few things that they are currently up to. Be sure to head over to Anne’s blog and see what everyone is up to this month
cooking – I don’t know if this counts as cooking, but the girls and I made some energy balls from Well Plated’s blog. They are very yummy and a good after school drive-home snack for the girls.
photographing – Not much. I didn’t take many photos the month of June for some reason. I took a couple of the girls and a couple of Claire because she was looking super cute, but that’s about all. Now that I’ve realized that, I’ll try to do better in July.
sharing – Nothing really.
trying – To keep a positive attitude about the world right now. Our case counts have increased dramatically this past month here in NWA and it is just hard to hear. Then add all the extra “fighting” going on in our country, it’s just depressing. So I’m trying to find the good in things and look for positive stories instead of just hearing negative stuff constantly.
wondering – How life is going to change with a new puppy. Yes, we are getting a new puppy this Friday. A miniature schnauzer…he’ll be 7 weeks old and we are surprising the girls. I’ll fill you in on how this new adventure goes!
Well, that’s all I have right now. Check back next month (Aug. 5th) when we will be discussing what we are currently choosing, consuming, enjoying, ordering, and remembering.
Until next time…keep it simple!

I am trying to keep a positive attitude too, but it can be so hard with seeing so much hatred being shared. I took a social media break because it was all so heavy. Trying to be more mindful to look for the good and steer clear of the comments on a lot of posts. That sweet pup looks a like a positive vibes guy to help keep a smile on your face! #currently

Oh my goodness that puppy!!! So sweet!!! I am sure your girls will be over the moon!
Our cases were the highest yesterday in a long time. I am not feeling good about this trend going into the holiday weekend. 🙁
Stay safe!

Aw, your puppy is so cute!!!
I’m with you on trying to keep a positive attitude. I think it’s tough in normal times, but these are SOOO beyond normal times. I do think that blogging has helped me – just connecting with people, and talking about serious AND silly topics.
