Anne, at In Residence, hosts a linkup on the first Wednesday of every month and invites readers to share a few things that they are currently up to. Be sure to head over to Anne’s blog and see what everyone is up to this month.
side note – I know I am a day late. What can I say….life happens and better late than never, right?
picking – This year I am going to try something different. I have a lot of non-fiction books that I buy and I start to read them, but never finish them So I am working on going through them and picking at least 6 to focus on reading and finishing next year.
preparing – I am beginning to prepare a Christmas bucket list for things for us to do as a family this year. I feel like the girls are at an age where we can finally do some fun activities and it will be enjoyable for all!
trying – I am trying to get over a cold. I’ve had it for about two weeks now. I went to the doctor and got a steroid shot and antibiotics, but it’s still hanging on.
feeling – After a busy past couple of months, I’m finally feeling like I can have some downtime before it picks up again for the holidays. I am ready for a little rest in my life right now.
following – I am following the weather closely right now. It’s typical Arkansas weather…every day is different and you never know what to expect or what to wear that day.
Thanks for stopping by. Please consider joining up next month on December 4th, when we will be discussing all out seasonal happenings: wrapping, baking, lighting, sending, and enjoying.
Until next time…keep it simple!

We’re all trying to get over colds here too – ugh, I feel you! And I love the idea of a Christmas bucket list! Going to have to start thinking about that before the crazy busy of the season sets in. Definitely putting decorate Christmas cookies on it 🙂

I hope you feel better soon. Colds are the worst! And I’m trying to read more of my nonfiction books too – it’s Nonfiction November after all. 😉 I love the idea of a Christmas bucket list. I usually do one too.
