Hi there! It’s been awhile…I have missed this little corner of the Internet. I’m hoping to make it a regular part of my week again, now that I feel like we are back in some sort of semblance of routine. Anyways, what better way to come back than participate in one of my favorite monthly link-ups! The Currently link-up from Anne in Residence is one I look forward to every month. Even though I haven’t been participating for the past few months, it’s one that I still make sure I check out and read each month. Well, let’s look at what we’ve Currently been….
appreciating – My husband. Last week my husband was out of town and of course it happened to be “school dress-up week” (coincidence, hmmm….I wonder?!?!). I made it through and kept everyone alive (even the dog), but man it wore me out having to make sure they had whatever outfit/costume they wanted/needed for that day and dropping them all off to school and trying to get to work on time. It made me super thankful for the extra set of hands in the morning as we are trying to get out the door for school and work. It also made me stop and think about all the single moms out there and wonder how they do it all and just how thankful I am for a spouse who is willing to help.
getting – Excited for the holiday season. I feel like this will be such a fun year for the holidays with the girls because of the ages they are at. Trick-or-treating was so fun this year because both girls were so excited to do it and it brought them so much joy. It was so fun to see and I just think that Thanksgiving and Christmas will be more of the same. They are both at perfect ages this year to really understand what is going on and to get into the holiday spirit. I think it will be so much fun to experience it through both of their eyes this year!
making – I think I am going to to TheBarmyFox’s stitch-along for this winter. I think it is such a cute pattern and I like that she shows you a part of the pattern to do everyday, but if you happen to miss you can always go back and watch to get caught up. With the time changing and it getting colder, it will be nice to work on something like this in the evenings.
sharing – Books that I’ve read in the past month (honestly I might include some from the past few months since I’ve fallen behind on my posting). I’m hoping to get that post up here sometime in the next week. So be on the lookout for it because there will be some good ones!
wearing – Warmer clothes. It has turned off so chilly here in NW Arkansas. No lie…two Saturdays ago it was in the 90’s (I think it might have been a record temperature that day) and tonight the low is expected to be 30 degrees. It has been so cold and rainy for like the past week and I am already over it. It’s like we skipped fall and headed right into winter. I am not a fan.
Wow! This has been so much fun…I had no idea how much I missed this little creative outlet of mine. I’m looking forward to posting more frequently going forward. Come back December 1 when I’ll be chatting about what I’m currently decorating, feeling, sending, smelling, and wrapping.
Until next time…keep it simple!

I definitely appreciate my husband in the mornings as I head out the door to work and he deals with the “off to school” chaos!
