I am linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci to share some of the Friday Favorites from the week!
Listening: A podcast episode I recently enjoyed listening to was Sorta Awesome’s episode on Energy.
So much of what Megan talked about how energy affected her as being a Type 9 on the Enneagram resonated so much with me. I even sent them an e-mail telling them how much I enjoyed that episode and how it brought me freedom in giving myself grace in accepting who I am and how I function. Megan even responded to my e-mail and I was so excited to have her respond to me!
Reading: I recently read Beartown and LOVED it!
I have so many thoughts about this book and honestly can not wait to read it again! Be on the lookout for my January book reviews coming up where I will talk more about this! I am going ahead and saying that Beartown will probably be my favorite fiction read of 2018.
Watching: I have been watching a lot of YouTube beauty videos. I go through spurts where I will binge-watch a lot of my favorite beauty YouTubers and then I get tired of them (also I realize that I don’t have ALL the money to just go out and buy ALL the things they recommend). But here lately I’ve been sucked into watching them again and have a list of new beauty products I want to go buy and try out.
Wearing: I ordered the most comfortablest (I know that’s not really a word, just go with it please) and cutest sweatshirt from Amazon.
The first time I wore it, I got SO MANY compliments on it from people at work. I am planning on ordering a couple more in different colors, I love it so much!
Pondering: I follow Nancy Ray on Instagram and also I enjoy reading her blog a lot! Well, she is doing a little special series on “How We Do It” where Nancy and another blogger (Emily) discuss different topics such as Time, Finances, Work, Spiritual Life, etc…and a couple of weeks ago they wrote on “How They Do…Finances“. I really enjoyed Nancy’s post on this and especially her “why’s” at the beginning of the post. It has made me stop and think about our finances and why we do what we do and what do we hope to accomplish with our financial path we are on. Still contemplating this and wanting to discuss more with Robert to come up with maybe some type of our own “Mission Statement on Finances”.
What have some of your favorites been this past week? Would love to hear some!
Until next time…keep it simple!

I know I’m late to the game, but I’m trying to jump on the podcast wagon, but I don’t even know where to begin! I read Bear Town, but A Man Called Ove was my absolute favorite read of 2017. Gosh, I loved that book!
