Last weekend my sister came up with her baby boy to stay with my parents and we all went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. It was a lot of fun! It was the first time all three kids had done something together like this and it was so neat to imagine doing a lot of these type of things in future years!
Last year Emmalyn and I went to a pumpkin patch with friends closer to our house and really enjoyed that one. This year we went to one closer to my parents’ house that we had heard good things about, and while it was fun…next year we will definitely be going to the one Emmalyn and I visited last year (they just have more little kid stuff to do).
We got there and both Emmalyn and my sister’s little boy had to have their picture taken at the entrance.
Emmalyn didn’t want to ride in the wagon, but we convinced her to get in and at least take a picture.
Emmalyn went to drive the train and then climbed through a hay tunnel. Fun, fun!
Look at me Mom…I’m Queen of the Haystack!
Mimi and Emmalyn rode a little tractor pulled ride and Emmalyn thought it was a BLAST (Mimi not so much)!
We petted the donkeys and Claire just looked around.
Emmalyn jumped on hay bales (Aunt Amanda and I reminisced about our growing up days jumping on hay bales at our house out in the country…we said Emmalyn definitely got her skills from us!).
We found a tiger along the way! Roar!!! It was so funny, when Emmalyn sat down and the lady asked her what she wanted to be Emmalyn knew immediately she wanted to be a tiger!
We all went on a hayride and then took pictures of Mimi and Pops with the grandkids!
Perfect weather and fun with family!!! Perfect Fall Day!
Until next time….keep it simple!
