I am excited to be linking up with “What I’ve Learned” with Emily P. Freeman to share some things I’ve learned over the summer.
- There is a proper name to the thing where you find out about or notice a thing and then all of a sudden it is EVERYWHERE! It is called the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon. I feel like this happens to me all the time and it’s nice to finally have a proper term associated with it and know I’m not crazy.
- So I might be behind on the times, but I recently discovered (just by happenstance) that when you click on a person’s picture in Instagram it will take you directly to their Instagram stories. I think it is so cool because I hate losing my place in Instagram to scroll back up to the top and try to find the person in order to watch their stories. So now if they say in their post, “hey check out my Instastory”…just click on their circle profile picture and it will take you directly to their Stories. Also, if you are in their profile and click their profile picture and they have both a Live Story and a regular Instastory, it gives you the option to pick which one you would like to watch. Smart thinking Instagram, smart thinking!
- Did you know you can have numerous Gmail addresses with only one account? Knowing this will come in handy sometime in the future I’m sure.
- Okay, I think I’ve mentioned before about how much I love Double Stuf Oreos (one of my guilty pleasures). So imagine my disappointment when I ran across this article stating that “Double Stuf Oreos Don’t Actually Have Double the Creme“. What the what?!?! No it can’t be true!!!
Until next time…keep it simple.
