Keep It Simple

in Currently· Link-ups

Currently – May 2020

Anne, at In Residence, hosts a linkup on the first Wednesday of every month and invites readers to share a few things that they are currently up to. Be sure to head over to Anne’s blog and see what everyone is up to this month.

making – memories with my girls. Even though this coronavirus is scary and it is a weird time, I am enjoying the extra time at home with my girls so much! I am enjoying getting to be home with them two extra days a week with them and getting to make so many memories with them that I otherwise wouldn’t get to.

missing – my family. I miss seeing my family during this pandemic, but more than that…I miss getting together with Mom, Dad, and Amanda. It’s been over a year that we have gotten together in a nice way due to the divorce. I mean we were together at Amanda’s wedding, but it was weird and awkward and not the same.

learning – embroidery. I started learning embroidery a couple of months ago before the pandemic began. I joined the “cozyblue stitch club” where I get a package of a pattern and some thread in the mail every month. Here is a picture of one of my finished projects and one that I am currently working on.

I am enjoying learning how to do this…it is relaxing to me. I love that I can just pick it up and work on it a little at a time.

loving – I got the softest pajamas from Target a couple of weeks ago. They are so soft and comfortable! They have been my splurge on myself during this quarantine and just the perfect thing to lounge in at night and on weekends!

reading – I am currently reading “One In a Million” by Lindsey Keli and “The Little Bookshop of Love Stories” by Jamie Admans. Both are really cute so far. I read some good books in April, check out the list here!

Thanks for reading along, I hope you are having a great week! Please consider joining in this fun link-up next month where we will be discussing what we are currently feeling, wearing, buying, craving, and discussing.

Until next time…keep it simple!

Lindsey

You really can’t go wrong with comfy PJ’s – these are so cute! I’m glad you’re having more time to spend with your girls — I’m sure it’s a really nice positive to all the crazy in the world.

Definitely a good time to treat yourself to soft and cozy PJs! And I’ve been wanting to pick up embroidery too, but somehow don’t seem to have quite the free time I’d hope for… LOVE your projects though. Those turned out so great!

Thanks for joining in again this month 🙂

Oooo neat! See now I want to learn embroidery. Nice to meet you, by the way. I found you on the In Residence blog hop.
