So I am one of those people who pin a lot of things on Pinterest, but then never goes back and does them. So I thought for this year I would pick at least 12 pins from Pinterest and attempt them and then post my results here. I figured one a month is doable and wouldn’t be too overwhelming.
Since I just had this idea to start doing this series a couple of days ago, I picked a recipe for January’s “Pin to Present” because I thought it would be easier and faster to do than a craft project of some sort.
So as seen above, mine nowhere near looks as pretty as Shay’s (Mix and Match Mama), but they were still quite tasty! My whole family enjoyed them. They were not too spicy for the girls, but had enough flavor for Robert. They were pretty easy to make. They are something I would probably make (or at least prep and have ready to go into the oven) on a weekend because I just don’t have a lot of time after I get home from work before the girls are hollering they are hungry! Overall even though they aren’t the prettiest looking, I think this was a Pinterest win because they were yummy!
Until next time…keep it simple!
